About this blog
The On Health blog delivers insights and opinion on the high-quality and thought-provoking research published across BMC’s multidisciplinary selection of health sciences journals, from Reproductive Health to Implementation Science.
We have nearly 50 health sciences journals covering biomedical, psychosocial, organizational, policy and societal aspects of human health, disease and healthcare. The focus is on the design and evaluation of technological, behavioral, and organizational interventions to improve health at patient, population and global levels.
As well as writing about the research we publish, this blog is a place to read discussions on conferences, insights into journal developments, and commentary on news in the field.
Most of our posts are written by staff, but you’ll also hear from our Editorial Board Members and a variety of guest bloggers.
