Marie A Westwood & Callum G Fraser

Marie Westwood joined KSR in 2009 and has worked on the application of evidence synthesis techniques to diagnostic questions since the late 1990s. Prior to joining KSR, Marie was responsible for a programme of research on the application of systematic review methodology to diagnostic, prognostic and screening questions at the Centre for Reviews and Dissemination (CRD), University of York, and her current research interests remain in this area.

Professor Callum G Fraser is Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Research into Cancer Prevention and Screening, School of Medicine, University of Dundee; Honorary Professor; and Honorary Consultant Clinical Biochemist, NHS Tayside. He was heavily involved in the setting up of the UK Colorectal Cancer Screening Pilot and the development and roll-out of the Scottish Bowel Screening Programme. Current research concerns assessment of the utility of newer faecal tests.
