Sarah Jackson

Sarah is a Senior Research Associate in UCL’s Tobacco and Alcohol Research Group. She has broad research interests in using epidemiological data to examine social and behavioural influences on health. Particular areas of interest include: (i) factors that influence smokers’ motivation and attempts to quit, (ii) the causes and consequences of obesity and weight change, (iii) the ways in which social factors, such as discrimination and interpersonal relationships, influence health behaviours, health and wellbeing.
