Hans Remme

Dr Hans Remme is an epidemiologist/mathematician who has worked for over 30 years with the World Health Organisation on research and control of onchocerciasis, first as head of the biostatistics unit of the Onchocerciasis Control Programme in West Africa (OCP), then as research coordinator with the WHO Special Programme on Research and Training in Tropical Diseases (TDR) and most recently as consultant on onchocerciasis elimination for the African Programme for Onchocerciasis Control (APOC).
