Genome Biology plans 'Exome sequencing' special issue

In the summer, Genome Biologywill publish an issue dedicated to exome sequencing and the mutations that have been uncovered in common and rare diseases by using such approaches, as well as technological developments in this field.

This special issue will contain a series of commissioned, topical reviews and opinions, written by leaders in the field alongside research, method and software articles. The journal is now accepting submissions for consideration and would like to welcome manuscripts that use exome capture in a manner that will be of broad biological interest, with novel implications for human disease or evolution. The deadline for submission is 30th April 2011 and if you would like to submit your manuscript for consideration, please visit this link for further instructions.

This exome sequencing special issue looks set to be an exciting and highly topical special issue and follows the success of Genome Biology’s anniversary special issue in 2010.
