Genome Biology has a new look

Today we are unveiling the new logo for Genome Biology.

Genome Biology provides a comprehensive information source for biology in the post-genomic era. As we prepare for the future and the upcoming launch of our new sister journal Genome Medicine we are revitalizing the Genome Biology website and today unveil a new logo and color scheme.

Genome Biology is a well-respected journal in its field and its reputation has grown with the support of its eminent advisory board and the dedication of the in-house editorial team. We recently announced a new impact factor of 6.59, improving our ranking in the field. In addition, we are delighted with our SCImago ranking (which takes into account not only the simple number of citations but also the impact of the journals in which an article has been cited); Genome Biology ranks 54th out of over 13,000 journals included in the ranking.
