Zorana Zupan, Rachel Pechey & Theresa Marteau

Zorana Zupan is a Research Associate in the Behaviour and Health Research Unit, with expertise in experimental and cognitive psychology. Her current work focuses on understanding the underlying mechanisms of behaviour change, particularly in response to environmental cues.

Rachel Pechey is a Senior Research Associate in the Behaviour and Health Research Unit. She is currently working on a three year Society & Ethics fellowship funded by the Wellcome Trust to examine responses to healthier vs. less healthy environmental cues by socioeconomic status, alongside possible mechanisms underlying these responses.

Theresa Marteau is Director of the Behaviour and Health Research Unit at the University of Cambridge, and Fellow and Director of Studies in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences at Christ’s College, Cambridge. Her research focuses on (a) the development and evaluation of interventions to change behaviour (principally diet, physical activity, tobacco and alcohol consumption) to improve population health and reduce health inequalities, with a particular focus on targeting non conscious processes; and (b) acceptability to publics and policy makers of government intervention to change behavior.
