Remco Kort

Prof. Dr. Remco Kort is holder of the TNO Chair Microbial Genomics at the VU University Amsterdam, principal scientist at the Dutch Organization for Applied Scientific Research, Professor at Micropia (world’s first microbe museum), and founder of the Yoba for Life foundation.

Remco Kort graduated cum laude in Molecular Sciences at Wageningen University, carried out his PhD-study in molecular microbiology at the University of Amsterdam, andpost-doctoral studies in X-ray crystallography at the ESRF in Grenoble (France) and Nara Institute of Science and Technology (Japan).
