Dr. Hueffer is a Veterinarian at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, working on infectious diseases and is especially interested in zoonotic diseases of relevance to the North as well as Host-Pathogen Interactions. He works at multiple scales, from cellular interaction of viruses and host cells to landscape dynamics of infectious diseases in animal populations.
